Position Details & Responsibilities
Our client is a growing chain of dealerships that supply equipment from an established brand - they are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead their accounting department from their headquarters in Southeast Texas.
They are seeking a candidate with previous Controller and management experience who has a proven track record of leading and driving improvements. *Relocation assistance is provided for this role*
Responsibilities Include:
- Implement accounting policies, practices, and procedures
- Assist with the budget and forecasting process
- Oversee the preparation of all financial reports and statements
- Manage a team of accounting and finance professionals
- Occasional travel to the brand's stores across the state
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field
- CPA designation required
- 5+ years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience in the Heavy Equipment or Agriculture industry is preferred
