Position Details & Responsibilities
Our client is a world-renowned OEM in the heavy equipment industry. They are looking for an experienced Parts Sales Manager to join their team at their US headquarters.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the sales efforts for OEM parts and assist customers with troubleshooting and parts order completion. Your primary responsibilities encompass establishing and nurturing robust customer relationships, overseeing a dedicated team of sales representatives, and formulating innovative sales strategies aimed at not only sustaining but also significantly increasing revenue from parts within the American market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of parts sales experience for heavy equipment industry (skid steer, bulldozer, excavators, tractors, attachments, etc.) and customer service-related experience required as a technical parts representative or field service technician
- Four year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred or 1 – 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have sufficient mechanic knowledge to understand customer heavy equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills including, but not limited to: excel, word, and CRM software.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong phone skills
- Must have sales skills to help the customer and to overcome objections and close the sale.
- Must be a motivated self-starter.
- Must have interpersonal skills to assist customers and employees in a professional manor.
- Travel up to 20% required
