Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician based in South Carolina to join their team. 

This role will follow a Monday to Friday schedule and will involve travel in a multi-state territory which may include 2-5 overnight stays per month.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Assess the status of customer and company-owned machinery
• Perform maintenance, repairs, diagnosis, and inspection on various machine models
• Understand customer needs and make repair, product, and service recommendations
• Train customers on how to operate equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a mechanic - preferably in the heavy equipment industry
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• DOT Certified
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• OK with occasional overnight travel
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
