Position Details & Responsibilities
Our client is an equipment dealership seeking a Sales Manager based in New York. The goal of this position is to drive the growth of the dealership's product lines and effectively lead the sales team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute a business plan that grows the organization's customer base and achieves revenue objectives
- Create and enforce policies and procedures to drive efficiency and attain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Create an annual operating budget for the sales department
- Lead a team of sales employees, including recruiting, training, and mentoring sales team members
Qualifications
- Previous management experience
- Proven track record of sales success
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ok with travel throughout the assigned territory and occasional air travel to industry events
